WHO WE ARE

Niko Marcina

Soccer has shaped my life as a player, a student of the game, and now as a coach and leader. With over a decade of experience coaching at the youth, academy, provincial, and university levels, my passion has always been the same: to help players grow not only as footballers, but as confident, resilient people.

I hold a Master’s in soccer coaching, a Bachelor of Human Kinetics, and the Canada Soccer A Diploma. My coaching journey has taken me from grassroots environments to high-performance programs, including serving as Technical Director at New Westminster Soccer Club, Head Coach at the University of the Fraser Valley, and Provincial Program Support Coach with BC Soccer. Across every role, my focus has remained on creating environments where players feel supported, challenged, and inspired to reach their potential.

What I Believe In

Soccer should be demanding, but it should also be enjoyable. When players feel safe to make mistakes, ask questions, and express themselves, real development happens.
